Baptisms |
The Parish has a 'Baptism Team' whose role is to welcome the new baby on behalf of the parish and to help the parents prepare for the baptism. Two members of the team visit the parents in the period before the baptism and help them choose the readings and 'prayers of the faithful. These team members try to be present at the baptism. The parish has a specially prepared booklet for the baptism ceremony and this, together with a commemorative candle, is given to the family. |
